Single-site pharmacy, afternoon order of 85 lines. The table shows each line across three wholesalers; 61 lines stay with the usual supplier, 24 move to the cheaper one, and two out-of-stock items go to the third. The split order is confirmed in four minutes, and the month view shows the saving so far.
Choose your planAn independent pharmacy with one site often orders twice a day from more than one wholesaler. Prices differ from line to line and change during the month, so the same order can cost noticeably more or less depending on where each item is bought. Without a buyer, that comparison is done by the pharmacist or a dispenser between prescriptions — or not at all.
Comparing by hand means opening several wholesaler sites, searching the same item in each and noting the price and stock before the order cut-off. In practice most orders go to one usual supplier, and the margin on every line where another wholesaler was cheaper is simply lost.
The service compares for you. You build the order once — from your dispensing system, a list or by typing the items — and each line is priced across the wholesalers you use. The table shows the prices side by side, with stock where the wholesaler provides it.
For every line the best available price is picked, and you can override any choice: keep an item with your main supplier for a discount threshold, or move a line because of delivery times. The rules you set, such as a minimum order with a wholesaler, are applied to the whole order.
When you are happy with the choices, the order is split by supplier and sent to each wholesaler for you to confirm. Nothing is ordered without your confirmation, and each split order stays in the history with its prices.
Every month you see what you spent with each wholesaler and what you saved against ordering everything from your usual supplier. The figures help when you negotiate terms and show which suppliers are actually cheapest for the items you dispense most.
Out-of-stock items and lines with no price from a wholesaler are shown separately, so you know what to chase before the cut-off instead of finding out when the delivery arrives.
Getting started takes one evening: your pharmacy details, the wholesalers you use and your usual order. The next order can be compared in the service. It works in the browser, nothing to install.
